hi, we bought computer 18 month ago, it stopped working and we were told that there was problem with motherboard. Is that ok with such a new computer with very low usage?

Well nothing can really be said, but yes its possible. The Motherboard could be poorly made, even with limited usage or just 1 usage it could break.

You have 2 choices.

Find a tech who can give you an estimate to fix it; or buy the exact model motherboard and install it yourself.

Buy a new computer.
