You stated that it did run so the air had to go some where. Did you hear anything leaking and how long did you let it run for? It should take about 12 to 15 minutes to fill.
Let it run for 5 then shut it off. If there are any leaks you should be able to hear them clearly. If you don't hear any, pull the ring on the safety release valve located on the switch. If there is no air released from the safety valve. Then it's possible that the check valve in the manifold is frozen. You should be able to get a replacement from sears. If there is air then it's probably just a bad tank psi gauge.
Please let me know if you need any more help with it.

What kind of oil do i need for a craftman 1 hp 3 gal 125 psi compressor m/ n 921 153101?..

For warm climate, use 30wt non detergent oil (lowest price $3). Med priced oil ($5), use compessor oil sold at Lowes or any major center store including Wal Mart. Compressor oil is special blend for higher temperature range (continuous use). High price oil, synthetic compressor oil works for heavy duty use under severe conditions (also sold at major lumber centers, cost about $8~18).
For lite duty, any oil that you have handy will work fine (check oil before every use). Good luck

Need a price on a air compreser 1.5 hp 3 gal 125 psi craftman air compreser no.15310

when you go have a look on alibaba.com and search for 1.5 hp, 3gal you will find chinese factories who make your type of compressor. when you order a whole 40ft container they will cost you abou 50 bug or less. as you can see it is very diff to give a raisonable price for such machines. when you look on the national market with the same search words you find several onlineshops and the price will be a lot higher, its a hard question you ask. greetings.

I have a craftman oiless air compressor model # 919153210 that I need parts for and sears do not carry the part anymore. thank you for any help., gcmac@netzero.net

Many of Sears oilfree compressors were made by Devilbiss. Try going to this address http://www.devilbissparts.com/ and enter your sears part numbers. (example cac-4281 for valve plate) They will most likely have the parts that you need. Good luck and email if you have other questions about your conpressor.

10 AMP CIRCUIT SOUNDS WEAK. WIRE MAY BE TOO SMALL. ARE YOU SURE ITS NOT WIRED FOR 220 VOLTS AND YOUR RUNNING IT ON 110. START CAPACITOR COULD BE BAD BUT TYPICALLY WOULD LEAK OIL-LIKE FLUID IF IT WAS DAMAGED. CUTTING OFF AND ON CONTINOUSLY COULD BE THE PRESSURE SWITCH IS DAMAGED. SOUNDS MORE LIKE WRONG VOLTAGE. THERE ISNT A LOW OIL PROTECTION DEVICE.?
