Question about HP Computers & Internet
For the hard drive, you need to isolate the problem first. The questions are:
1. Have you tried connecting the HD into another USB ports?
2. Have you tried using another USB cable?
3. Have you tried connecting it into another computer?
4. Did you check Disk Management of your computer while the HD was connected?
5. Do you hear a clicking noise on the HD?
6. What kind of driver do you need?
Most external hard drives are Plug-n-Play and does not require any additional driver.
