You wouldn't believe what you CAN'T do, without a remote control. I took out the battery for the remote, and now its lost. The manual does not say what type of battery it needs. I know its a large button cell but which one? Can anyone tell me? I've worked in watch batteries before, and I know theres about 20 different types, so it would be nearly impossible to guess which specific one would fit. Please help

I believe the only battery you have to replace is in the Remote Control ? The picture frame itself does not have a battery .. only the A/C connection.
To Install or Replace the Remote Control Battery :
1. Hold the Remote Control with the control buttons facing downward.
2. While pressing down on the ridged area of the battery cover, pull the tray out.
3. Place a "CR2025" Lithium battery on the tray with the positive "+" end facing toward you.
4. Close the tray.
If it is an original remote control to this TV, it should work even after replacing the batteries. If not works, check the battery contacts at its battery compartment for any rust or dust accumulated, which prevents proper contact to battery terminals. Clean the contacts well before inserting the batteries. If there is no such problem, check the infrared emission from the remote control. If you wish to get more details about how to check a remote control, check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.
If it is a universal remote control, as soon as you take out the batery from its compartment, all the settings will be lost. You should reset it with its setup codes. Your remote control will have a model number. Without it, I can't post a solution to your problem. Its model number will be either on its back cover or at the inner side of the battery stop lid. Please send me the model number. One for all Maryland Remote control is not the model number of that device. OK.
We hotwired the thermostat wires and the furnace started. That told us that the problem was with the thermostat. We took our remote control to another camper like ours and our remote worked their furnace. That told us that the problem was in the ceiling control for the furnace/ac. But the man who owned the other camper told us that he had a problem, too, and was told to unplug all the electric including the battery, wait 2 minutes, and hook up again. This might reprogram the circuitboard, and voila! It worked.
If the battery was out for that long, it's likely that the remote lost its programming. Did you try reattaching it to the website after the battery had recharged, so that the programming could be restored?
UMM IT WOULD BE HARD TO FIND ANOTHER ONE WITHOUT THE MODEL NUMBER THE BEST THING IS TO REPLACE IT @ 15.99 OR YOU CAN LOOK FOR SOMETHING SIMILAR ONLINE THAT LOOKS LIKE IT AND USING THAT MODEL NUMBER
DID YOU LOOK WHERE THE BATTERIES GO.
I have this same remote with the same markings in the battery compartment. This remte is the same as Phillips/Magnavox model PM725. You can download the PM725 manual here: http://www.remotecentral.com/index.html
