Question about HP PSC 2175 All-In-One InkJet Printer
It reads "Press enter to align ink cartridges" constantly. I'll press enter. And sometimes it starts to align the ink cartridges but then says "align ink cartridges canceled" and ends it, other times it goes through the whole process. But either way, as soon as it is done, it immediately says "press enter to align ink cartridges" again.

>turn off machine
>uplug machine and disengage from pc
wait 20 minutes
>do everything in reverse order(put everything back
This is a simple reset. Is the machine now working?
If this is not working, look very carefully inside the printer sockets- are there any bent wires ? any broken? is there dried ink globs anywhere?
If everything looks okay, then we next need to check to see if your printer driver is up to date or has become corrupted in some way.
go to this site
Enter you info and download the appropriate driver for your printer and your operating system.(Make sure you get the correct driver) Be sure to turn off all running programs when you do this including your firewall. Download it and save it to your desktop. It will be an exe. file on your desktop. Before you install it, turn the printer off. Click on the icon to install the new driver. Then turn the printer on and see if all is well. Good luck and if this does not work, let me know. I have had many HP printers.
Good Luck to you!

take out the cartrdiges
put them one by one, start wih putting the black and the color in their respective slots
wait for the printer to automatically print the alignment page,it might even ask you to put the alignment paper on the scanner bed to complete the alignment ,also you can print an alignment sheet from the computer by going to the prntr iconin the control panel's printer and faxes ,do a right click on the printer icon ,goto properties and click on printer preference.
and then click onmaitenance and print the alignment,i would insist on the automatic alignment

This problem is caused by incorrect alignment page print out caused by faulty cartridges, ideal fix is replacement of all ink carts
HP have a webpage dedicated to this...h10025.www1.hp.com
Also get on your gloves get out your vac and suck on the carts till a little ink comes out, make sure colour cart releases all 3 colours then reinstall, can get messy.
