In my motorola phone the memory card is not formatted

You can try formatting on a PC, and try and use it then. Format it FAT32. and it just may work. If NOT it maybe faulty, your phone, may not "Like" that brand of MC,. try another. or the camera itself is faulty.

No. The maximum size of memory card supported by this model is 1GB microSD type only. So it wont recognize your 2 GB memory card.

Are you using Micro SD transflsh memory??
Format the Card on the PC using FAT, after that use a CARDREADER and put these folders on the card: MOBILE and in the mobile folder put audio, video, kjava, picture, temp! Shutdown your Motorola, remove the backcover and plug-in the card! After that Start Your Motorola and copy a file from the mobile's memory on the CARD! It should work!

You don't mention what model of Motorola phone you have, but most (if not all) that accept a memory card have a format option. I would use the phone format function rather than the camera.

sometimes there are sd card errors make you format failed. you may get messages like

"Unsupported media card inserted, format now?" error in your smart phone,
"Media is not formatted would you like to format now?" error,

... ...

you need to fix sd memory card errors first and them format you sd card.

Don't formst using PC. format in mobile itself..

setting--phone status--storage device--memory card & then select format using option button.

Do not use card reader and format with pc, you only format the card with the phone,and only once.

If you format the card with your pc the phone migt not see the card anymore,even if you format fat32. The card is suppose to be formatted with phone because the phone needs to build folders in the card.

As for saving anything,say pic,just open options and choose card.

then try and format the card in your pc then place it back in the phone.

just goto settings phonestatus , storagedevices ,select memorycard ,click menu button format the card

try 2 format in some other motorola set and then put it in ur handset. its ur hardware problem that says remove card when u close ur cover try take it out ur memory card and then u watch it says same?
