Power of/on button not working.

Hi all, My power off/on button located on the top-left side of the set is not working. 1 out of 10 tries are succesful. Also when i leave my mobile idle, it is not going into the power save mode although i have already done the settings for the same. One more problem is that when i press windows button , it automatically starts scrolling down the programe list. I tried resetting it to factory settings but to no avail.

You have probably gotten some sticky liquid, ie: coffee or pop, under some of the keypad area. Causes some to stick down and others not to work when pushed. You have to have someone take it apart to the keypad and clean the contact surfaces. Should get you back up to 100%. Or take it back in warantee and have them replace it.

Hi, let me help. Hope you are well. Locate the "additional functions " button locaed near the 9 key pad to the right of the display. Press it and select "commom settings"which should be the top upper left button .Select it and scroll till you get to "tray designation". Here you can choose what items (fax, print, copy, other) will be output. Just make sure you dont have ,for example, fax coming out in more than one spot. This is unfortunately easy to do. Just select which ouput item you wish to exit where. Press "ok". You will need to power off the machine after this using the switch located on the right of the machine, very back, about halfway down. Wait a sec and power up. All should be good. I wish you well.

How to restore default settings

Hello :

  1. Remove the battery from the left side of the PSP while it is still on. The unit will power down instantly. Wait ten seconds and then replace the battery.
  2. Press both clear shoulder buttons at the top of the PSP and keep them held while the PSP reboots. A "Recovery" mode will be initiated.
  3. Press down on the control pad to locate a "recovery" folder. This will contain all of your PSP content, including games, music, videos and podcasts that are saved on the device. Highlight this folder and press the "X" button to begin reinstalling your content.

Warnings
  • If you would like to reset your PSP while it is working normally, you can do so by going to the Settings menu and selecting "System Reset." This will get rid of all your content and restore the PSP to factory settings (and subsequently remove all of your content.)

Or try this for hard resetting :

  1. Locate your Power button on your PSP. Push the power button up for 10 seconds.
  2. The PSP will and should shut off. Leave the PSP off for 30 seconds.
  3. Turn your PSP back on by flicking the power button up very quickly. If it doesn't turn on, try pushing the power button forward very quickly again. (sometimes you have to do it 2-3 times)
  4. Your PSP should be working now. If not, then you may have a firmware problem.
Warning:
  • Do not have your PSP plugged into a power supply.
  • If your PSP doesn't turn off after 10 seconds (of power button being help up) then remove your battery and wait 30 seconds, and then replace .

Can't get the remote to work at all

First press the SAT button at the top left hand side of the remote and release. Now try changing channels. If this did not work press the menu button twice on the receiver. It will usually be behind a pop open door on the right of the receiver. I f your receiver does not have these buttons you can access the system info screen by pressing the power button on the receiver while holding down the arrow left or right key.
Once you have come to the SYSTEM INFO SCREEN press and hold the SAT button on the top left side of the remote until all lights across the top light up. Then key in a two digit number e.g. 01-16 and press the #key. then press the record button and the remote address for the location you are trying to control should change to the number you keyed in. If this is the second location tv that was giving you issues exit out of all the screens on the receiver location tv and go to the other location and try the remote. If it is the tv where the receiver is located then you should now be able to use the remote to maneuver the yellow cursor across the screen. If you need further assistance please let me know. Thanks for using Fix Ya.

RCA hd50lpw42yx2 not working

There are 4 1000 mf. 35 V caps. on the AC IN pwb. (power supply) that are chronic fail items. After back is off, slide the chasis on the left side back toward you. Slide about 1/2 inch and it will lift out of track and then the chasis will be more accessible. The said caps are the tallest on the bd. and 2 are located side by side on the bottom front of the chassis. The other two are side by side about an 1 1/2 above the other 2. Most likely the top of the caps are pooched out. Replace all 4 whether they look bad or not. Problem solved
