If you are 101% sure that you have the paper size set correctly on the panel and that you have the orientation and zoom set as they should be then the answer is... you can't fix it.
If the machine is set correctly but fails to print the whole page then the main board in the machine is faulty and the only fix is either a new board or a new printer.
If your machine is in warranty then get Epson to replace it for you. If the warranty is out, then it probably is not economical to repair the machine, but you could get a quote from a local dealer just to check.
Sorry if it's bad news for you.

Take no notice of previous solutions, Epson printers have fixed print heads and replacing a cartridge does not solve the problem nor would the ink cartridge itself be clogged, it is the permanent print head in your printer.
Most clogging cases are caused by lack of use or occassional use.
First check you've removed the "tear off" strips, these allow air into the top of the cartridge and without this, ink can't flow out of the bottom of the cartridge.
If these have already been removed, proceed to "Prime" the heads.
To prime, you need to open up the [Maintenance] screen on your printer properties box, click on the [Head Clean] button and when cleaning is finished you'll be asked to print a Nozzle Check Pattern. You must cancel this by clicking [Finish]. Carry out a further 3 head cleans cancelling each nozzle check until the 4 cleans are complete, then allow it to print the nozzle check pattern. You should now see a significant improvement in the amount of clear nozzles if not a perfect print.
If the print isn't perfect carry out another "Prime" as above.
Any further Epson cartridge or printer problems, go to our help pages linked from the Epson page on our website. Here's the link straight to the Epson page: http://www.the-inkstore.co.uk/frame/pages/epson.htm
I hope this helps lots of you!

Before printing, the printer checks the paper size. If the paper edge guide is positioned incorrectly, the paper may be fed at an angle. If this happens, the bottom of the paper is therefore at an angle and not perpendicular with the paper feed rollers. This can result in the paper sensor not recognising the real page width as it can only detect a certain amount of the bottom of the paper sheet which is nearest to it.
If only part of the width of the paper is detected, the printer considers that the paper width is less than it actually is. To avoid printing on internal parts of the printer such as paper feed rollers, the printer automatically cuts the image to fit the detected paper width As this phenomenon depends on the paper feeding condition, it can be random.
Reload the paper and make sure it is loaded correctly. All the way to the right and the paper guide correctly adjusted.
