Sounds like either your video card is failing or the slot is failing.

Place a different video card in the computer and see if your problem goes away. Likely it will, if not your card slot on the motherboard is failed.

Your video card for that computer might be faulty. If it is intermittent, you can take out the videocard and put it in another slot. If your motherboard has a built in video card, then you might want to try putting the card there as well. It would help of you get a rubber eraser to erase the part of the card where it enters the slot. If these does not work, then you might want to isolate by putting the working videocard from your other computer. If the card works there, then your other video card needs replacement.

I have nothing to plug p3 and p4 into when all on no signal

Sometimes if a VGA cable is not screwed into to both your Tower and your Monitor, it can get loose and thus resulting in no signal.
Another cause of a Monitor Displaying the no signal message would be due to the Graphic Card failing, or possibly due to the Graphic Card not correctly being seated.

Other Thoughts
--------------------
Usually P3 and P4 refers to a cable on your power supply that needs to be attach to your motherboard to supply extra power.

Note:
If your P4 cable is not plugged in before turning on your computer, this will also result in your Monitor displaying the no signal message.
Keep in mind though, if your computer has not been opened or is not a custom built PC, you should not have to worry about such issues as your P4 cable should in theory be connected. However I guess safely checking won't hurt anyone.

Power ok but display not ok

I would suggest that initially you try the monitor on another computer or laptop first to rule out the display itself.

If you are using it on a laptop then just check you didn't accidental switch to another display (FN + F5) cycles through the displays.

If you are using it on a regular computer that has more than one monitor port then try it in the other ports first just in case it is set for an on-board display or in the case of a proper video card that it is not in the wrong port.

If The display is fine on another computer and it does not work on any of the ports then and only then should you look at checking out the display card.

First off you should switch off the computer and remove the card and then re-insert it and then re-check fora display.

Also listen carefully as you switch the computer on.
there may be beeping that would indicate the card itself may be at fault..

Monitor will not power on. All of the connections

yes all the connection are intact, in these cases have the cpu check the monitor is not the problem, the monitor is still displaying which means that it is good, have the cpu check or check how many vga adpater is present in the cpu, if you have a built in and a separate card and you plug the monitor to the built it will not work and you need to connect it on the separate expansion card that is install inside your cpu

ASROCK P4 COMB- BIOS PROBLEM

Ok first things first, did you just installed the video card?? if so remember to connect your monitors cable to the new video card's port. check your power supply meets the cards requirements. Cjeck you connected your power supply to the video card.
Did you do anything to the pc, Did you changed the biios settings. What did you do the last time you used your computer. If you messed with the bios, thres usually a jumper in the motherboard to reset the bios to defaults settings, It says clear cmos or something like that. You have to take it out and put it in the pins stated. wait 30 seconds and put the jumper back to it's original positon.
If is not this then be more specific so Me or anyother can help you out. Cheers.

Cpu does not connected to monitor

I am guessing that you see lights on your computer, but no display on your monitor.

Have you tried another monitor? If you have and still no display, try unplugging everything from outside the computer except the monitor and then try again.

If no display, unplug power from computer and open the computer. Remove all expansion cards other than the video card. Disconnect all the cables from all of the drives, then connect power and try again.

Let me know if you need more help.

The main problem is in the RAM or MEMORY CARD, just detach it and place it back or on another slot beside it.... if this dont work, buy a new memory card. but this usually works

No display on monitor

Hi, sounds like a problem with your base unit, might be a lose graphics card, a stick of memory might need taken out and put back in. shouldnt be expensive to fix. as that will give you the fault that you describe with the monitor. as the base unit aint posting, and the signal aint being recieved, if you have basic knowledge you should try taking out the graphics card and refitting it, usually does the job :-) All the best, John
