Hi,

The Advanced Boot Options screen lets you start Windows in advanced troubleshooting modes. You can access the menu by turning on your computer and pressing the F8 key before Windows starts.

Boot into advanced startup options and Disable automatic restart on system failure.

This prevents Windows from automatically restarting if an error causes Windows to fail. Choose this option only if Windows is stuck in a loop where Windows fails, attempts to restart, and fails again repeatedly.

Once you've disabled automatic restart, you would be able to view the exact error message. Make a note of it and let us know the exact error message.

Try booting into "Last Known Good Configuration" mode and check if you're able to.

Try the recovery wizard, also try pulling the hard drive, and ram,and bios battery if you can get to it,looks like watch battery on motherboard.or green plastic pack with two wire plug on main board, take the panels off on the bottom,if your lucky you will see it,otherwise have to dissamble to get to it.if you find it unplug for a couple hours, with main battery out and ac unplugged, should reset the bios to factory default ,might help ,do you have xp or vista?if your bios battery is the watch battery style be very carefull removeing it the holder will break off the motherboard easily,,if none of that works post a reply and ill give you some more options

Toshiba Sattelite PRO L300 telling me checking file system C one of disks needs to be checked However it then says an error has occured and won't leave this screen !

Press F8 and choose command prompt. You may have to use a boot disc if you can't get c prompt.
Type cmd ENTER. From the Command Prompt type chkdsk /r/f ENTER. R and F are redundant for repair and fix, but does not hurt.

When I turn on my Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 nothing happens. The power(DC) and battery indicator lights are both ON but the screen remain black and hardly any vibration to show any device booting

1. you may have a non functioning adapter and it is not charging the battery
2. You may have a defective battery that needs replacement.
3.To see if the battery is defective take it to a laptop service tech to check with a new battery and have him also check the power adapter.

Change keypadtoshiba L300 laptop

Try this....
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-L305-L305D/remove-screen-replace-video-cable-1.htm

The trick is to remove the screws under the battery vecause they hold the bezel into place, once that is done, pry the bezel up and out of the way then remove the screws on the top of the keyboard and lift the keyboard at a 45 degree angle and move it slightly toward the screen to unhook the tabs at the bottom. Unhook the cable socket and move the board.

My Toshiba Satelite L300 does not start up.

Sounds like it's a dead motherboard, or DC power connecctor. Take it to a computer service.
