Question about Ovens
Hi, I have just purchased a house that has a SMEG SA9066 electric oven with gas cooktop. All the fans and lights work, the gas burners work, but the oven itself does not heat up. I managed to get a pdf version of the manual and have tried all the various settings, timers, etc but still no heat. Can anyone please help? Thanks in advance!
This is late response but this fault is your fan element. You have two of them, if heating slower than usual, it is only one that has failed. When replacing one, it is recommended the other one be replaced. Tripping the circuit breaker is the symptom. These elements 2100 Watt each are anywhere between $70 to $110.
