I am trying to install an HP PSC 1210 all in one

I am trying to install an HP PSC 1210 all in one printer. When I run the installer it tells me a newer version is installed and then stops. I have tried uninstallingand using the hp Scrub program but though it tells me the printer is installed, it still will not work and does not show up in my printer list so I can't add it as a printer. What can I do?

Go to control panel >> Add/Remove Programs and you should remove everything that is related to the printer installation. It should remove any software conflicts with the old installation.

Then repeat installing the driver again.
