When you have your iPod plugged into iTunes, select it in the left menu. then click on the tab that says photos. there, you can select files from your computer.

if you want to get them off of the wifi on the iPod, you can take pictures of the screen with the iPod. when what you want to take a picture of is on the screen, quickly push the menu and top buttons at the same time. it should take a snapshot of the screen. it'll store those in a whole new folder in the iPod.

Hi idiehl271...

To use any picture for your background you must have that picture installed in the Ipod.
To install a different picture as a background picture do the following:

1...Turn on Ipod
2...Touch "Settings"
3...Touch "Wallpaper"
4...Touch the arrow in the middle of the window, next to the current wallpaper
5...Select pictures from "Wallpaper",Photo Library, ect.

How to put videos on your iPod Nano/Touch?

Most of us watch YouTube videos, enjoy DVD movies, and do you want to playback these videos on your iPod? iPod touch both looks and operates pretty much like iPhone with the touch-screen, a much better screen for watching videos. The newest iPod nano also supports video with great picture quality. So, you can enjoy movies, TV shows and lots of videos on your iPod touch and iPod nano now, but how to put the videos on iPod nano/touch? And the output videos also can be with great quality? Here, the following guide is to you on how to put videos on iPod nano/touch.

Step 1: Convert to iPod supported videos

Most of the video files are not MP4 formats that can not be directly used on iPod, please make sure the format is compatible with iPod , if not, you should use some video converters to do the conversion, give this iSkysoft ipod movie converter a try, which can convert all various video formats to iPod MP4 formats.

More information please go to http://www.hd-dvd-ripper.net/ipod-movie-converter.html#139
Step 2: Add files to iTunes

Obviously, using iTunes to sync files to iPod is the choice of many iPod users. After converting the videos, Open iTunes and click "File" to add the videos you just converted to iTunes library;

Step 3: Plug in your iPod to computer, then iTunes will detect your iPod as a device.

Step4: Select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done.

Ok, just enjoy YouTube videos, DVD movies, TV shows and lots of regular videos on your iPod nano/touch so easily!

I could only put 164 songs on it

See, this is the problem:

When you put other things on your ipod touch, it eats up the space. In your case, you only have 164 songs because your space could only allow 164 songs. Try deleting some other stuff like pictures or any thing that you want to remove off your touch and then try to put some more songs on it

Syncing my itouch with itunes

Itunes can sync infinite ipods and should have no trouble, so there isnt a problem with having two ipods. Try this: turn off your ipod, hold the home button, and plug it into itunes while still holding the home button until a picture of the itunes symbol appears with a cable under it. itunes should say "ipod found in restore mode". this will get rid of any previous users' settings, and hopefully fix anything preventing itunes from syncing with your ipod.
