Question about Onkyo TX-SR804 7.1 Channels Receiver
I purchased the onkyo av reciever TX-SR806 nice piece of kit i use it to watch blu-rays and have my xbox360 connected to it. problem is sometimes i lose HDMI signal i am using expensive high quality HDMI leads and have changed the leads so the problem must be with the onkyo reciever!
I had the same problem with my xbox 360. I was able to fix the problem by disabling the Display Discovery setting on the xbox.

Have the same problem. When connecting my computer the HDMI cable wasn't making good contact with the DVI>HDMI adapter. I replaced the adapter and problem went away. Then, the problem returned when connecting my Wii. I assume it's a similar problem but my Wii uses component. So far what I think I know: it appears that if there is a lose connection with the HDMI the receiver starts acting flaky and loses the HDMI signal.
