HI I HAVE A I PHONE G 3 ...I AM HAVING TROUBLE HEARING WHEN PEOPLE CALL ME OR I CALL THEM ..I WENT TO SETTING AND ONLY SAW HOW TO TURN UP RINGER ..PLEASE HELP I AM NOT VERY TECH SAVVY

on the left side of your phone directly underneath the vibrate/silent button there is a long button that is your volume control. While in a phone call press the top of that button and that should work for you. but only while in a phone call because other wise it will just turn up your ringer. hope this helps

Hi, one of our Call Center workers cannot hear the ringing phone when she has the headset onWhat's your problem?

The ring from the telephone is picked up by the internal microphone on the HL10 Handset Lifter, typically for most phones, the lifter sits directly over the speaker grill on the telephone where the sound comes out. For telephones that curve out on the left side and don't have a straight edge, there is an accessory called a "Ring Detector" which is used. Here's a link:

HL10 Nortel Adapter Kit - 46780-01

If the internal mic on the lifter has gone out, you can plug the ring detector into the handset lifter and just stick the ring detector over the speaker grill to pick up the ring. Plugging this into the lifter will bypass the internal mic, this accessory would have come with your HL10 lifter. You can also check the ring volume on the telephone, and you can also try adjusting the ring tone on the phone (sometimes it will pick up one ring tone better than another). Here is a link below if you need to order a new ring detector:

My panasonic cordless phone model # KX-TG2258S the handset works but when you dial or talk or even just pick up the phone you don't hear any noise at all. not dial tone but it does call out. you just...

Do you even hear white noise? If not, it sounds like your phone's speakers may be broken, or it has water damage. If your landline is connected to more phones, ask yourself these questions:

Do all of the phones have this problem? If so, it's a problem with your connection, not the speaker.

Is there a volume button anywhere on the phone or the base? Try turning it up.

Do my phones make a "beep" noise when i push the buttons? If not, did they used to? If they don't, then it's likely that the speaker is no longer working properly.

You may need to contact panasonic and see if they will replace it for you.

Hope this helped! Please rate my solution!

Only works on speaker...

Hi,

It sounds like the earphone speaker is broken. Have you tried adjusting the volume during a call (buttons on top right side)

You can test your earphone speaker by pressing the following combination on the phone.

> * < < * < *

where > and < are right and left on the joystick.

From the "Service" menu that pops up, pick "Service Tests" and then "Earphone"

Thanks.
