My front loader LG won't spin or wash, what can I do?

(1) If the washer won't spin or agitate the door latch should be checked. The door latch can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design, if faulty replace.

(2) If the washer won't spin or agitate the rotor assembly at the back of the washer tub might be bad or damaged. The rotor is essentially one half of a motor, it interacts with the tub by creating a strong electro-magnet. If the rotor fails or is damaged the washer might not spin or agitate. Check the rotor for damaged magnets or other defects.

Take agitator apart

Can not take it apart but to remove it reach with both hands into the machine grip the agitator firmly at the bottom by getting both hands fingers under the bottom rim of the agitator. Give it a strong yank upwards (towards your body) to dislodge the agitator from the center shaft.

Whirlpool imperial spiral will not move

There should be a plastic cap that covers the agitator. You will need a strong knife or a flat-head screw driver, to remove the cap. There you will find a nut, that holds the agitator in place. Once you remove the nut, the agitator should slide right out with a little force.

Whirpool lsq9244eqo fills and drains but does not spin or agitate

It sounds like the agitator gripping teeth are worn out. To check this, take the agitator cap off with a strong knife or flat-head screw driver, pull the cap off and check the plastice teeth and four plastic hooks that grab the teeth. If they are worn out, then you will have to replace the agitator. To replace it, you will see a nut that is between the circlular teeth. Unscrew the nut and pull the agitator up hard.

Whirlpool washer agitates but makes a very loud noise

It sounds like the agitator teeth, that are plastic, are worn out. To check this, take the agitator cap off with a strong knife or flat-head screw driver, and check the circular teeth inside, to see if they are worn out. These plastic teeth are the agitator part of the washer, where as the spinning part is a metal set of teeth, at the bottom of the agitator. You see the metal teeth, when you take the agitator completely out. You will have to replace the agitator if the teeth are worn out.

Ge washer

Pull up sharply on the agitator to remove it from the shaft. Check the agitator mounting cup underneath it is probably stripped out. It is a replaceable part.
If the agitator is difficult to pull up,use a old strong leather belt under the agitator and pull it off using the belt.
