Question about Computers & Internet
First, there is nothing wrong with my router, my phsical switch is in the on position, and I know my router works because I can connect to it with a number of different devices, ipod, other laptops, etc.
At random times while surfing the web I will get the no connection error page. I will try to reconnect a few times and it won't let me then a few more times and it will. It is totally random and it drives me insane. To top it all off, after much frustration, I restore the computer to the out-of-box state 3 times now. Each time, after a week or so, it starts all over. This shouldn't surprise me too much considering it did this right out of the box. I have never wanted to crack an $1100 machine over my knee any worse that I do now. Please help!
Try to restore it again and turn off automatic updates...it sounds to me that after a while it makes some changes that cause this to happen ....another issue is the firefox...lately it does that ...I mean it not connect with the servers ( some of them ) right the way ...so try different browsers...also might just be something with your connection and loose some packets form time t time and in some points you just dont have a response ..so also try your pc from another connection for a while ...and see how it works ...if it s doing the same from another location it means that it has some issues with the lan card or wlan after case...or just has a bug and needs reinatalling ....by the way ,,, it might be from your wireless ...try it on cable to see how it works ....( from the same router if you have the lan option on it ...I mean if it isnt just wireless...It occurred to me that it may be some interference ...radio ...in your area and cause this from time to time ...after all you said that its not a pattern ...but randomly ....Good luck !
