Gas leak on blower

You need to take the carb apart and make sure the needle and the seat is not sticking. It sounds as if the seat valve is not going back into place and allowing gas to continue to come into the carb flooding the engine. Hope this helps.

Leaking gas tank, or the fuel lines, and possibly it is spilling at the carb. Only put in 3/4 tank of fuel.

2000 fuel lines

There is only one gas line. It will come from the gas tank to the engine compartment, connect to a filter. Another fuel line will leave the filter and go into the engine.

It is extremely dangerous to work with spilling gas. Do not try to start the vehicle as the electronics and spilling gas could easily start a fire and explosion. You need to trace the gas line and determine where it is leaking to fix it.

LEAF BLOWER GAS TANK LEAK

Get a hot glue gun and seal the plastic tank. I know it worked for over a year for me and still holding when I moved and sold it. I no longer needed it as I was moving into an apartment.

How do you fix the plastic gas line? It doesn't stay in the gas tank. When I prime the bulb the gas squirts out and when the echo blower is in use, gas ends up leaking on my leg.

The holes in these gas tank are made to fit available fuel lines tightly enough to prevent the problems you are having. If yours is leaking either someone put on too small a fuel line or made the hole larger so it would be easier to put the fuel line in the tank. The only fix is to get the next size larger fuel line or replace the tank. You can try to seal the line with RTV or silicone but he gas will degrade it and it will leak again plus you'll have a harder time the next time the line has to be replaced.

I smell gas fumes coming from my car when i park and turn off the ignition

normally fumes come in to vehicle when stopped because of oil leak from rocker cover but check your fuel filler cap seal etc and also incase the tank is leaking just have a sniff at the rear of the car if its the filler cap or tank filler you normally get smell when tank is nearly full and been around a few corners the fuell filler nect becomes pourous and just spills out a bit if so will need replacing .but most time its an oil leak from rocker box or engine

Just bought a used leaf blower, homelite, gas leaks out of the gas tank, where the gas tube fits into it.

"top of the gas tank where the gas tube fits into the tank"

I assume you're describing the gas tank cap. if so, the o-ring is missing from the gas tank cap. You can find those at hardware stores.

Husqvarna 145BT gas blower with a gas leak. this is at random some times it leaks from the bottom right down my lower back. Some times it doesn't leak at all. Not to sure where leak is coming from.

I own the 145BT.

Mine will leak when one of the two tubes (one black and one yellow in the picture) that come out of the gas tank pull out. I find this is usually when someone hits them when priming the carburetor, just before starting it. I just push either the black or yellow tube back into the black rubber gasket on top of the fuel tank. The gasket is pretty tight so it sometimes takes a bit of effort.

More than once I had quite a bit of gas on my clothes by not making sure they were pushed in completely, before putting it on my back to start blowing.

The tubes should probably be a bit longer -or may have shrank a bit over time.
