Error code F 26-3 on Konica 7022

Sir/mam, you might have a bad drum density sensor or it was not cleaned or was destroyed by static electricity, if a vacuum cleaner was use to remove the old developer, NEVER use a vacuum cleaner for that procedure. Remove the drum and will see a small sensor near where the cleaning blade sits need to clean it replace it. Worse case the main control board is bad that what sensor talks to .Was the L Detect procedure run after the developer was replaced, and before you replaced the developer did you clear the developer counter, to let machine know it has new developer, because clearing the counter is the only way the copier has new developer, did you clear the counter for the new drum? The machine use the counters to determine voltages for certain assemblies. If L detect was not run and copies or prints where made get new developer and start over.

WHY OUR MACHINE Di2011 DEVELOPER AND DRUM ARE BRAND NEW. BUT STILL BRINGS PROBLEMS E.G SERVICE CALL AND MACHINE TROUBLE SHOOT.

Was the counters cleared first? for the drum and developer, has to be done because the machine uses the counters to tell the copier what voltages to apply to certain assemblies. If not done causes codes and image problems. That is also how the copier has a new drum and developer, after the drum and developer where replaced was Toner Density procedure run. And no prints copies or faxes where received after the developer was replaced and running the Toner Density procedure, and any did get ne developer and start again. Must disconnect network cable and fax cable before changing developer also.

Sir/Mam Have you had the developer and drum replaced recently, or does the screen say Replace PC Drum? There are certain house chores the copier does before "Ready to Copy" it is waiting for them to get done, so that equals "Please Wait". One big item is making sure the developer and toner are properly mixed inside the image unit underneath the drum or next to it depending on the series. Might want to have the developer replaced and drum/cleaning blade normally done all together, then run the F8 procedure/Developer Charge, and make sure the counters where cleared. Did you recently replace the drum and the developer if so did you clear the counters for the drum and developer, FIRST? IF not then the copier thinks the new drum and new developer are old. The copier works on the counters that is how it knows it got a new drum and developer. Get new developer and a new drum and have it installed correctly. Counters are clear before the unit is yanked out of the machine, then you remove the image unit/drum unit replace the developer/drum and cleaning blade. (DO NOT USE A VACUUM CLEANER WHEN REPLACING THE DEVELOPER static electricity can destroy the sensor located below the developer unit. Then reinstall and RUN F8/Developer Charge. Make sure the fax line and Ethernet cable is removed can't print anything until the F8 is run. Or you will start all over again with new developer and a new drum.

1. Power off the machine. Then remove the toner bottle, be careful the hole might be on the bottom and the toner is going to go everywhere. Then close the toner cover and turn on the machine. Let the machine go through it normal routine. When it asks for toner install the toner bottle correctly. If THE KNUB on the side of the bottle is damage put a new one in. That KNUB is what the toner motor uses to turn the bottle, if it damaged you get a code. If that does not work, you might have a bad motor or the home sensor or actuator for the toner bottle is bad worse case the control board is bad.

Minolta 450 di error code COF32

Have the developer replaced. if you have had the developer replaced and that person used a vacuum cleaner to remove the old developer then the static electricity from the vacuum cleaner destroyed the sensor underneath the image unit. Worse case the main board that sensor feeds is bad now. Go with replacing the developer again first. Then worry about the sensor or the main board. Was the counter reset when the developer was replaced, was the F8 process done after the developer was replaced.. If not then get new developer have the process done correctly, the machine works on what the counters have in them if you replace the developer and don't clear the counters the machine will assume the that old developer is in the machine and adjust the voltages to certain units accordingly when in fact new developer and for that matter the drum also works on that system. is installed causing image problems and codes.
