Do they have a webcam? They need to config their webcam.

After that, it could be your video card that is giving you the trouble if they have a webcam and its config. Try updating your graphic card to the most current and see if that helps.

Give me the specs on your computer/laptop.
You have a Toshiba Satellite xxxx axx-xxxx.

with this i could try and help you look it up. And its not webcam card, its video card. This is a card in your computer that lets your computer display what you see on the screen.

Ok let me say it agian more simpler.

On your laptop it should say HP DVsomething something. There should be stickers on your laptop saying the Brand and Model type.

  • pickmynose Sep 10, 2009

    Ok lets try this:

Start > Control Panel > System

It should give you the model there.
    What I need is:

Model, 32 or 64 bit Operating System.

  • pickmynose Sep 10, 2009

I need the model type as well...

  • pickmynose Sep 10, 2009

Vista Home Basic, Home Premium, or Business?

  • pickmynose Sep 10, 2009

Scroll down to the Driver - Graphics section, download the 3 items and install them.

  • pickmynose Sep 10, 2009

    Click on Support and Driver
Download drivers and software (and firmware)
type in hp compaq 6730s on step 2

When a new page comes up, scroll down and click on this
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic (32-bit)

Then follow previous step fro my last msg

Microsoft lifecam VX-1000 picks up buzzing noise

Try using a headset and the buzzing should go away. If you are hearing them through your speakers then the mike could be giving you feedback. Also try turning down the volume a bit and see how that works.
Hope this is of some help. Bud
