Re: air conditioner

Turn off unit supply and check the blower wheel inside the indoor unit by rotating it manually by your finger if the blower wheel rotates freely then there is something wrong with your fan motor or fan motor capacitor. But if the blower wheel is not rotating freely try to check the fan motor for lubrication or some bushing dried of and no oil

I have a Panasonic 1200 BTU air conditioner, that ...

The ball bearings in the fan motor is toast. Options: 1. Contact your dealer or Panasonic directly. This is a known problem and Panasonic will send you a new fan motor for free or at a reduced price, depending on the age of your unit. You will probably have to change it yourself, or call a tech to do it for you (about 1 hour of work).
2. Change the ball bearing(s) in the fan motor yourself. 1-2 hours of work if you are somewhat handy. Buy a CERAMIC bearing (Size 608, ZZ, Ceramic - the same size you use for a skateboard) @about 10 USD (7 EUR) in your local hardware store. You probably only have to change one bearing, the one on the "inside".

Air Conditioner just stopped working

verify that the fan is free to spin and not binded, window units are bad for this due to close tolerances in the small cases

LG split system cooler/ heater heater not working

This could be a problem with the interconnecting wiring or a control board problem with either the indoor or outdoor unit. I would have these issues looked out.
Hope this helps

Have a near new panasonic cs-e28hkr split system air conditioner and the outside condensor fan continously runs even with inside unit is turned off? Thanks

If the inside unit (evaporator) is turned off absolutely.
The condensing unit must be turn off outside because the power
are derived comes from the evaporator.
Possible it seems on the cut out stage inside and remain the power still on
Otherwise theres somebody tamper the connection?

Fan cable consist of 3 wires
1 Common line
2 Start /stop line***Change the connection of this wire where it located, To On/ Off switch of the
evaporator inside unit
3 Ground green line/Earth

note: you can get all that wires inside the power supply in evaporator area.

If still under warranty inform the manufacturer

"high" vs "low" dual control

could be problem with either switch of fan. try continuity across both legs of the switch then try continuity across the fan windings.
