How can i hook up a car stereo in the garage without using a car battery, and get the same juice as far as wattage and power???

Wire a 12 volt AC adapter to it. Connect the power to the positive wire, & the ground to the negative wire. If it's a low power unit a 1 amp adapter will work. If it's a high powered unit you might need a 12 volt 5-10 amp adapter designed for monitors, TVs, monitors, & some laptops. Beware some laptop AC adapters can be 16-36 volts. Make sure you use a 12 volt one, & know which wire is positive, or you'll burn it out.

I need to know if there is still some were to purchase and Ac Adapter for a Balance LCD Monitor CM2019?????????

All you need to know is:
- The output voltage (usually 12V)
- The rated output current (usually above 5A)
- The plug polarity (usually plus on the inside)
Then just purchase any replacement AC adapter that has the same voltage, same plug polarity and rated current preferrably more (at least 120%) of the original.
That's it.
You can buy them online, for example at http://www.12vadapters.com/

Sylvania CL772B LCD monitor has no power

The board with 200-100-SH700 on it may be the problem. I came up empty trying to find anything with that number, there should be some other number either ink-stamped on the board or on a paper sticker.
Google can be your friend if you find the right number.
Somewhere there may be someone with one of the same with a broken screen. Ebay?

Power failure issues

The specs for this monitor is a 60 Watt, 12 Volt, 5 Amp power adapter. The voltage must be the same. You can always get an adapter with a higher Amperage rating, but never get one with less, as this can overheat the adapter and damage it. I was not able to locate specs on whether the voltage to the monitor is DC or AC... most are DC. If this is the case, the observe the polarity at the monitor. Power adapters have a positive and a negative... center and outer contact, Make sure that the power adapter matches that of the monitor, else it will not work.

X2 gen 17" lcd monitor, no display

This indicates either a problem with the monitor cable(ie shorted) or the display adapter. Try plugging the monitor into a different computer and if it works you will need to install a new display adapter in your computer. If it doewn't work on the new one either you can try a different monitor cable if yours isn't permanently connected. Hope this helps

What voltage is the dc adapter?

You will need at least a 4 amp rated regulated 12 Volt power supply.
These are commercialy available from most electronics parts suppliers.
They come on a circuit board. You can mount it in your own case and
use the original Viewsonic wire end. If you do a google search for 12
volt reglated power supplies you should find many of these.

However, with a second-hand Sprint AC adapter with 3A,
12v adapter, the screen blinks on and off
intermittently. Obviously there is some difference here between a class
2 adapter and a power supply box.

How do I check the amps of the 5 volt supply on the monitor motherboard?

Your question was presumably cut off in the title of your post, but on the power brick, there should be several statistics of the power supplied by the cable. There should be watts, Amps, and whether the output is AC or DC. I believe your monitor takes DC power, so if you are buying another power supply, make sure that it gives out DC power, not AC. Also make sure to get the specific wattage, and for a monitor that size, 3.0 amps should be more than enough to keep a steady power flow, and also keep the power brick at a reasonable temperature.

Acer 2032 w will not stay powered on

If you can splice wires, this will fix it. First beat the old Acer power supply to death. (God, that felt good) Then cut the wire off the old brick and splice it onto a laptop power supply that's rated at 18 or 19 volts @ more than 4 amps. Dell uses them and I used one from an HP dv2000 that cooked itself to death. The Monitor runs on less than 3 amps and is quite happy at 18 or 19 volts. By the way, the white wire is positive and the black wire is negative. Don't worry about those four pins on the plug. If you look on the case of the old brick, you'll see that the pinout is quite simple - 1 and 2 are positive, 3 and 4 are negative.

AC/DC Adapter

Hi, You would need an adapter that puts out 12 Volt DC, Output Current: 3.3 Amp and the Center Positive Power Tip (Output Power: 40W). The original ViewSonic adapter is M/N: UP06031120A Hope this be of some help/idea/ Post back how things turn up or should you need further information. Good luck and kind regards.
