Acer crystal eye webcam

look up debut video capture. it a free down load. lets you use your acer web cam to record video and everything. has some other things you can install with it but I chose just to use the video capture.

there should be a program on your computer called acer arcade deluxe. Go into arcade deluxe and choose DV wizard, it will then say choose device for recording (nb once you have done this and recorded using the dv wizard then you can open the movie maker wizard)

Click 'start' > Computer > C:drive > Windows > SUYIN NB Cam > Then Right Click LiveCam, Choose Send to Desktop (as shortcut) After launching, you will have to manually activate your mic,cam,record mic, and time limit prefrences each time you record a video. It's clunky software, but at least you don't have to download some risky 3rd party viral junk. i am going to make a youtube video on this so it will be so much easyier to explain :-)

now for my question
how the hell do u make these cams go in black and white?
i changed my saturation but nothing bloody happens :-(

In Windows xp operating system, there is an icon in My computer to take the cam...in Windows Vista, there is no short cut to take the cam...if u just want to check ur cam ..then take Movie Auto Producer from All programs..continue with the free version...then from the tools menu..take the second option..video from cam coder....thats all....

The much easier option is to download DEBUT VIDEO CAPTURE its a free download aswell and it is awsome. Trust me this is the best option. This will make your Crystal eye Cam take videos and alsorts. Its amazing

I hope you were able to install the drivers just fine for the camera. If not, then head over to global.acer.com to get the most recent drivers for the cam.

Once you have it installed, go to My Computer > Then on the bottom it should show a camera device.

If you want to use your camera for chatting purposes, for example, yahoo, or Skype!, you just open the option for video camera and it should automatically initialize the camera.

If you want to make a video, you can use the built in program, Windows Movie Maker. Start > All Programs > Windows Movie Maker. From there, choose a device, and then you should be able to choose your webcam!

for windows vista go to computer-acer-windows-suyin nb cam-acer orbicam and install this will let you record live video if you deleted acer crystal eye webcam there should be cd's that came with your laptop that have the installations up there just put them in and follow the instructions

well maybe go to 'start,all programs,crystal eye camera,then click that thing

ok to all you who have acers that u accadently dleted the program you could restart your computers memory dont worry it stotaly safe but u end up with it haveing the same programs as when you got it you press alt and f10 at the same time when you turn on your laptop and it should work

I can't find the file SUYIN NB Cam on my netbook.

if you have vista or other listed OS.... use this link... if you have 2005 XP media center... I can't help.
