More than likely will be the power board , use a hairdryer and a can of freezer to locate the faulty component

also look carefully for any bad solder connections on the pcb.

hope this helps , post back if you need any more info.

My rca tv model number LED32B30RQ wont turn on without unplugging it for hours and continuously retrying to turn it on. it seems to take longer each time it gets accidentally shut off.

Make sure there no bulging caps on Power Supply. If not try this. On Plug Connector 401 on Power Supply Board. Cut Pin 3 From Bottom.

To me it sounds like a power supply board problem...some componet is breaking down intermitly ...that is a hard problem to fix, finding the board should be easy, but buying the board, replacing it, and still the posibily it be something else is really difficult..

Power supply board troubleshooting - p50x01au

If you have a service manual, please match the voltages as per that and problems might be in areas where these do not match. But read on what condition these voltages are to be checked, this is usually written in a service manual, i.e, without any signal or feeding some signal etc.

I would guess you do have audio. The solution is to pull the convergence, power supply board out. You must scrape all the varnish (brown film) off the board on the solder side. This varnish may conduct and create a high voltage shut down in your video. Then you must inspect the rest of the board for bad grounds. You will need to inspect any and all ICs mounted on heat sinks. The pins may have separated from a good connecting ground on the board. You must really, really look for cracked rings on transistors, diodes, capacitors and resistors etc. Resolder as necessary and do not short pins together with too much solder. Thanks for asking and show all hands of support!

No ruster but have sound

You have bad grounds on the power supply board. The power supply will have the flyback transformer. You must pull this board out and really, really look for bad solder grounds. Check for cracked or separated pins on transistors, resistors, capacitors, diodes, jumpers and transformers (on the solder side of the board). Resolder as necessary. Be sure to check grounds on the vertical IC, you do not want to short the pins together with excess solder. I'm sure you can fix this TV. It takes patience and a very good eye,...eyes! This is good advice. I do not believe you will need to replace parts. Thanks for asking and show all hands of support!

When I turn my television on it auto turn off after a few seconds. The light starts to blink when I first turn the tv on and then the Tv just shuts off on its own.

Hello Sir, hi, you have power supply problems, this is caused by a bad part on the main board or on the power supply board to overload, when overload happens, the power supply immediately shuts down to prevent further damage. my first advice is call your dealer for proper service.

if you know anything about the tv, take off the back and remove the power supply board. Reflow or resolder the solder points, takes like 2 hours, but is well worth it as my tv works fine now. make sure to use rosin core solder and good luck

If that board has three connectors going to it (10 pin, 9 pin and 41 pin) then it is the PDP Module but no luck on finding a source for it. RCA is bad about parts supply on thier TV's the past several years.
