Question about Dell XPS Laptop with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T8100 - Black PC Notebook
Is the computer still functioning at this point? Have you tried restoring your operating system to a known good date? Is the Windows system current on all Microsoft updates?
If so, I would down load a free registry program called Glary Utilities, it is a free download and will clean and repair the registry for you. Once that is complete, download Malware Bytes, it is also free, and install it and run to verify there are no "bad" applications that could affect the system.
Start there first and see if clears the issue up.
Let me know.
