Whirlpool Washer GHW9100LW1 has no power

I have the same problem. I did several loads of wash and then it didn't work. No lights. I have power at the outlet and out of the the line filter. I also do not here any clicking at the CCM as described in the technical manual. I think it is the CCM, but have no way of verifying this. I wish I could verify this before ordering a new part.

My washer would only light up the one LED when the control lock was engaged - nothing else worked. I just replaced the $160 control panel and it works fine now. However ..... AFTER I began cleaning up I noticed the ribbon cable had a broken wire where it went through the metal housing. There was nothing protecting the cable from rubbing against the edge of the opening (there is now!!!) I fixed the wire and the old one works fine. You might look to see if that is the issue before having to buy an expensive part. If you are in that neighborhood you might see if you have the same lack of protection, and take a couple minutes to save yourself a future problem.

No error code given, just stopped in the middle/end of cycle. Tech was going to replace the CCU. I took off the top of washer and noticed a bare spot on the ribbon leading from the interface (control panel to the CCU in the back. When I wiggled it I could hear a beep, notice the control panel light on control locked. Held the end of cycle signal down for 3 sec. taped up the wire. Every thing works now.

Our model GHW9100LW1 Duet Whirlpool Front Load Washer has an intermittent H-F code, beeps and stops. Seems like it's worse with winter coming...20's to 40's outside...input water too cold or not enough...

H and F code flashing alternately could be one or more of the following items not working properly or bad:

- Flowmeter.
- Water inlet valve
- Water pressure switch. (last thing to replace)

Make sure to unplug power cord before you replace the part and also make to clean drain tube and filter every year.
