No Display, however Green LED flickers whether plugged into CPU or not

To get monitor work for you, you should connect the VGA cable to CPU. When you remove the VGA cable, monitor has got nothing to display so it goes in stand by mode with orange LED on.

MiniDisplay will probabely not support the Cinema's screen resolution...

This usually happens when there is some video resolution conflicts occurs. Try to start windows in safe mode and then making a lowest resolution applied.
If you are unable to start windows. Try removing its data cable from cpu. and check whether there is any display on the screen.
Also check its pins..

There are No display in your system .Pls remove Power cable from CPU and again plug it and start your system.If display still not comes then pls remove RAM chip from slot in the Motherboard and re-install goods one and check it.if still display not come then issue with Motherboard .Its detter call vendor for repair the Motherboard.

actually if u repair an aoc monitor alone without getting connected to cpu once u switch on the monitor all led's will lit on ( green light ) it will remain on situation until u connect the vga connector to cpu that's the time led's will lit off and only the power led will remain in green condition.some aoc 5en once u power on power led is in green condition and if not connected to cpu it will be in orange condition.hope u get some idea but i am not sure if it will work with ur monitor. but as long as LEDs lit on i think no problem with ur monitor.

1. Verify power cord is plugged-in and supplying power to monitor.
2. Verify Cord in between CPU & monitor is responding. (if it doesn't it will display Dell logo on dell monitors).
3. Press Power button and see LED turns green.

1. cpu problem. why because of there is no signal output from cpu to monitor. the led blinking means there is no vertical, horizontal signals from cpu to monitor.

2. your monitor connected to another system.

3. neck board dry points.

4. cheak the display cable. 13&14 pins are horizontal, vertical signals.1, 2, 3 pins , R G B , 6 ,7, 8 pins R G B ground ( coaxiler cable used , meshed wire is ground )

if this is a built sustem out of the box with old monitor try another monitor oddly enough some arent compatible, you can check by looking at the prong patern.

What kind of cable do you need? Data cable?? you can use from the other old crt monitor.
Power cable?? is the same cable from desktop cpu computer. Are the same type.
