The subs probably were being driven too hard, overheated, and burned open the voice coils.

You are def overheating, If the ohms rating of the subwoofer is too low it will cause this same thermal over heat. If you have 2ohms in sub and a 4 ohms stable amp, you will overheat. Check the ohms rating of the sub to make sure this is not the problem

My 1996 blazer a/c system works fine....... But the blower every now and then 10 - 15 mins. Stops blowing for about 1 - 2 seconds and comes right back on. Resistor?

Very unlikely, most likely the motor is overheating and locking up. The resistor will either work or will not work. All it does is vary the voltage to the blower not shut it off.

eyp, most of the time speaker connections blow and fuses wont stop that from happening. They are there to stop the mainboard from frying and not working at all. try running rca splitters to the operational side of the amp. run the sub on 1 channel. you will start hearing a difference but both sides will work. if not, run the splitters from the head unit and bridging it. these are the cheapest solution i could provide

Sub amp clicking on and off rapidly

Usually, it's the DC voltage in the amp's output that's triggering the amp's protection circuitry. If some component parts change its value due to temperature (overheating), it sometimes causes the DC voltage to occur. Check components such as, capacitors, semi-conductors, etc..Hope you can pinpoint the problem part.

Amp Will Not Stop Overheating

You say you have 2 p312d2 subs. Ok so the d2 stands for dual 2homs (2 X 2homs voice coils per sub) , conecting in parallel the 2 voice coils of only one sub will create 1hom load to the amp, and if your amp is 2homs stable per chanel that means you are lowering too much your homs causing the overhwating to it.
