Ge refrigerator tb484yc model number not found in any databases, cannot order parts

The control board (WR55X10020) is also available from several sites, including http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-number/WR55X10020/0046/363 . The control panel in black (WR55X10021) is not in stock but available as a special order from http://www.partstore.com/Part/General%20Electric/General%20Electric/WR55X10021.aspx .

Ok this is more than likey cold control problem. I look up on sears found the part number. It is WR09X10104 and it is only 30 dollars. I would give a try. The part is located in that long piece in the center. Unplug the box. Remove the four 1/4 screws. Pull down center piece. It will have a gang plug. Unplug it so you can change the cold control. Reverse the order This will solve your problem.

if you look down at the bottom of the freezer door you'll see a door stop,two 5/16 inch screws hold it in place,the stop on the fridge door must of broke.you can switch it from the freezer to the fridge door for now until you get a new one.part number is WR02X13425 and it's around 5 dollars.give your parts store the model number and they will take care of you,or go here,pick any topic here,put your model number in,to the right of the model it will as model or part number,pick model and click on it and your machine will come up,click on fresh food door,your part is numer 12 and you can order it from sears if you want.let me know how you make out

Now here is the confusing part. If your model number is a GE PDS22LBN the Ice Maker would be part number WR30X10039 for the model number posted above your post. If you have sears model number for the refrigerator it will be like 312.235698 for example. Confirm the model number of the refrigerator and I can tell you the correct Ice Maker part number. You can get exploded view drawings of your refrigerator from any of the appliance part dealer web sites or the GE web site. Simply enter your refrigerator's model number in the search box and click SEARCH. Once you get your drawing, you can see what needs to come apart in order to give you access to whatever part you want. You can also order the replacement part. Good luck.

Get the actual model number from the refrigerator with the baskets. Then go to the Sears parts website at www.searspartsdirect.com. They have exploded views and parts available for a lot of appliances, and you should be able to get the part number and price for replacement baskets. Once you have a part number, you can do a Google search for that number to locate other suppliers and shop around for a good price. Or you can just check at the store where you purchased the refrigerator about ordering the baskets right through them.

Sounds like your refrigerator side, solid state, temperature thermistor is bad.  Order this part by providing your parts distributor with the model number of the refrigerator.  Of course there are other things that could be defected and can cause the same result.  GE has had a number of failures with this part. These are not common parts, so would need to be special ordered. Any GE servicing dealer could get them for you, or you may be able to call GE answer center to get parts (1-800-626-2000), but don't expect any deal from GE on price or shipping costs. I looked up and found "door gaurd" rods for a WMR04BAPABB and they are WR17X10586, WR17X10587, WR17X10588, and WR17X10589 and all were in stock at GE parts. You may need more than one of some parts.

Your original repairman must have looked up a similar model without the snack door. The handle of couse would have also been listed, but this is difficult since A. You do not give your model number and B. (maybe not as bad) we don't know what model number he used when he ordered your door(s). Please list the complete model number of your refrig. (from sticker inside fresh food compartment) and I'll try to help.
