JVC tv model HD56G786

I accidentally hit the DIGITAL SETUP in the menu on my television, and now I do not know how to go back. It says WEAK SIGNAL and I can't even change the channel. I normally have it on channel 60, and with my dish network remote, I turn on my at&t homezone. Now I can't even put it on channel 60. Please help!

you are on the wrong input setting on the remote or the set,use menu to find inputs stroll untill you line up with the correct one ,,it sounds like you use a cable box that is hooked up to tv bt HDMI

with my cable box i have to plug intio HDMI1 or i get nothing ,a blank screen ,the input for weeak signal is telling me your on the wrong input, change it with or without the remote ,go to input and not tv,that wont work either even though it is your tv your running, you need to get in line with whatever device you have plugged into tv,like video 1,2,3,or hdmi input 1 or 2,i use 1 for the cable box ,and 2 for the computer hdmi input on the back of the tv,so look at what plugin you are in then with remote or without set the input to either satyelite tv ,or input 1 hdmi,or whatever and all of a sudden the picture will be there and all the channels from your cable box will play on your tv .i found this all out the hard way so i know im right ,i did not even have the right remote for my jvc,but if you go to remote codes on the internet and enter the product name you can get the codes, good lick my friend ,happy couch surfing!

It's easy, you just have to go back into the menu setup for the auto channel/tuner setup and rescan for channels. I'd noticed this as well when playing around with the tv when I'd bought it and it had done the same to me.

LT-46151 mitsubishi tv, Green light flashes, no picture, back light is on, screen is blue.

If you have any later digital camera or phone with a compatible connector and cable, try connecting this first.

The set may be looking at the wrong input for signal.

Using your remote, check the setup menu to ensure that your source (cable, receiver, etc.) hasn't been accidentally changed.
Often, a blue screen means 'no signal.'

Jvc hd56g786 channels stuck on digital cant get them changed to analog

Using the television's remote control, enter the user's menu. Search for video input and change from cable to antenna. If still experiencing difficulty, visit the JVC website and download the owner's manual to learn the procedure of changing the video input type and deactivate the television's digital decoder.

Viewsonic N3250W- turns on, the screen flickers on then its black

This could be a problem with the tv's memory. Try resetting the TV. Unplug the unit for a few seconds (10-60). Then restore the TV to the factory default settings. Viewsonic has changed it's menus at intervals so you may have to check your manual. It may be Menu > Setup > Memory Recall or Menu > Options > Restore Default (or something slightly different). From there, click enter, use the right or left arrow to select YES, hit enter. Leave the menu system (Menu twice). Then hit Menu > Channels and rescan all channels.

An alternative cause of the problem may be a weak signal - check that your antenna is pointing right at the station and is the correct type to get the signal at the distance you are from the station. (Usually a weak signal would also have the audio breaking up but weird things can happen.)

I hope this helps.

Cindy Wells
(who recently had a channel pair that started out with flickering signal issues and then had one channel lose video and the other audio. The memory reset and rescan resolved the problem.)

Sylvania MTS/SAP TV.
I don't have a remote
I accidentally hit the ''menu'' button on the front. Now I can't get the TV to show anything but static -- like there is no signal coming in from receiver (either through input jacks on front or on rear. Menu gives various options, but none of them gets me back to being able to see the picture.

The screen shows ''Weak Signal'' and no picture, even though audio is coming through from both the Cable DVR box and Blue-Ray player. The cable box connects to the TV with an HMI cable - all five TV inputs...

Mine did the same thing once. I think all I did was hit the setup on the remote, and let it run back through all the channels and then it worked just fine.

I hope this works for you.

MY JVC HD56G786 TV

If the Mirror broke while the TV was sitting upright, the pieces of glass got down inside the light engine and the cooling fans. I don't think you took the light engine apart to clean out all of the glass so the main cooling fan is probably not running and causing the warning. There is no sensor for the mirror. Did you remove the chassis to clean the glass? You cna remove it again and try powering it up out of the cabinet. There are four fans that need to be running. If the light engine is filled with glass the fan at the bottom of the air exhaust will not turn.
I am fairly certain that since the TV was discarded there is more wrong with it than a broken mirror.
