Question about Canon PowerShot G3 Digital Camera
Well you said the LCD was turning black. So my guess is that its not the battery. If the LCD is black maybe the image/s got imprinted on the camera and broke it. Send it to your local Canon store and ask if they can take a look at it.
I can't give you an estimate since I don't work at Canon, but I'm guessing around 40-50usd. However, there could be more than 1 problem. If the cost exceeds 100 or so, I would advise you to just upgrade and buy yourself a new camera since cameras now are cheaper and more better. If you have further questions, ask.
