Update the drivers for wireless card. Just re installation will not work. Also check if you are getting the proper wireless signals.

Internet is working but it is saying No Signal. ....worked fine last weekend

Try the internet using an ethernet cable and if it works fine the trouble is either with the wireless router or with the computer of laptop wireless adapter.

If you can connect a smartphone or tablet to the wireless router the problem will be with your computer. You can try ensuring the wireless aqdaptor drivers are properly installed by using the device manager and troubleshooting from there. In the case of a wireless dongle it would be worth uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them.

Freezes when broad casting

This is likely if you are using a wireless connection to broadcast over the internet. Reinstall the drivers for this device from the disk that came with it. Visit the Logitech website for the latest drivers for your device. Connect your computer via the ethernet port for a solid connection, if you are useing wireless internet be sure that you have good signal strenth as bandwidth drops as signal drops.

Take care!

I have tired to log on to the internet through my default provider and cannot. I have gotten error messages that read: Sigmatel C-major msinfo32

Sigmatel c-major is your audio driver, not your internet driver. It is possible you have a corrupted driver. I would uninstall the sigmatel driver, then get the dell disc and reinstall it. I would also remove and reload my Ethernet driver, my Wireless driver and my dial up modem driver, just to be sure.

As for the internet provider, You would need to clarify how you connect: wired (ethernet, usb) wireless (wifi, router, cellular) or dial up (aol, netzero, juno on a 56k modem and phone line). Different things can cause internet failures. For example, a cordless phone can disrupt wireless connections. An infected "winsock" can knock out all your network connections, and a bad cord or a bad jack can ruin any wired connection.

Let me know how it goes, Good luck.

Wi fi connection

Try to check on the device manager if the wireless adapter and the ethernet adapters were installed properly. If it appears with a questionmark, uninstall it and try reinstalling it without the ethernet cable connected.

If you are using Vista system, after installing the adapters, go to the network connections and just click on tcp/ip then click on properties. Exit from the window by clicking ok until all windows will be closed for the network connections. Reboot your pc and try if you can obtain a connection.
