Re program first the systme.. maybe the problem only is program.. if during the installation you did not meet any problem it means the problem is software only.. because if the problem hardware it cames during installation or after the installation it will come again

How do i get setup is starting services off and open windows

I found a solution for the same problem that fixed it for a few people. Try this:

1) On the same error screen press SHIFT+F10 and it will open up a black Window. (a command prompt window) 2) In the black windows type the word "regedit"(without the inverted commas and hit enter. That will open the registry editor. In the Registry Editor.. Browse to.... HKLocal machine/SYSTEM/SETUP/STATUS/ChildCompletion, and after highliting childcompletion,on the right hand side check for setup.exe. if the value is 1 change it to 3.(by double clicking on setup.exe and changing the value shown in the box). Then close the registry editor and then also close the black window. Then click on OK for the error and the computer will restart and the installation may complete. just try it and let me know if it worked.

I found this solution at http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/69394-35-acer-aspire-wont-setup-starting-services-help

Let me know if this helps,
Thanks!

Check in the power options area of your operating system, and switch off hibernate and switch off sleep, this should prevent the machine powering down.

Do not start up, black screen

Hello,

I'll asume something for this one it might help. Make sure your laptop is completely turned off [No fans turn, screen black, no hard drive light]. When you then press the power button, immediately keep pressing the F8 button on your keyboard. It should then actually display two options after a while :

*Delete restore/resume point and start windows
*Resume restore/resume point

Select 'Delete restore point' and the unit should boot up fine again.

I had a unit that was basically turbo-booting into windows, but the restore point was corrupt and it always seemed it had a 'blank screen' problem.

You can also try to access the BIOS by pressing F2 as soon as the unit starts up to see if you can actually access the BIOS.

If that all doesn't help I suggest reseating RAM.

Stop Error Vista Blue Screen

HI,
To determine what is causing the issue just restart the pc and keep pressing f8 key - this will take you to advanced boot meny.
First of all login to safe mode and check if problem persists there - if no go to start and in start search bar type in MSCONFIG - then hit enter.
After that go to startyp tab in system configuration window and click on disable all startup items.
Restart yuor pc in normal mode and if problem will not persist keep enabling startup items one by one. This will allow you to determine which software is cauusing the problems. Then update that software. Unless it is really old it should work with vista. If that is xp only software you will be able to use that in Windows7 under xp mode. Check Mocrosoft website for more info on XP mode.

Laptop keeps restarting infinitely with black screen

This article explains how to disable the restart on failure so you can see the stop error code that will help you diagnose the problem. (see here and here.
Here is the HP home support page for your system, with articles to help you troubleshoot here and here., or here.
If you get windows started again, I recommend you run chkdsk to check your hard drive for corruption (instructions here and here), and run a scan for malware by following these protocols,(at least first 4 steps) before you reboot. That will establish a baseline against which you can troubleshoot other causes...
It would also be wise to examine your event viewer and see what sort of errors or warnings are reported there, to know what you're up against...

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!
