Question about Apple iPod touch
That means the ipod had a passcode and as a security feature it has locked itself. If you dont know the passcode then you have to re-sync with the original computer. If that computer is not available you can re sync with itunes but all your music will be erased and you will just have to start your collection all over.

If i were you I'd put it in dfu mode and plug it into my computer and reload it.. It'll take off all your music and videos, but you can just put them back on if your stuff is on your computer. To do this hold the power button and the menu button for 10 seconds, and then just the power button for another couple of seconds. Plug it into your computer and it'll say it found an ipod in dfu mode, and just reinstall everything.. Should only take like 5 minutes for ipod itself, and then all your music and videos.
