the clean light keeps going off and on...i cancel and it still goes off and on....ive tried to start as usual...but when i hit the start button it goes off.
Now...keep in mind all dishwashers are not alike and have different panel options. If you do not have the same set up as I have referenced, the tech sheet for your dishwasher will explain. The tech sheet is located behind the lower toe panel under the door and lists the proper sequence of buttons to push for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
NOTE: Sometimes the tech sheet is located behind the inner door panel. You will need to remove the screws securing the inner panel to access it if this is the case. Make sure you turn off the main power breaker before doing so.
Sometimes this can be a momentary glitch in operation. However, if the problem keeps reoccuring the number of flashes is an indication of which circuit is causing your problem. Again, refer to your tech sheet to determine this.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you solve your problem.

Our home has a Whirlpool Dishwasher Quiet Partner II model # DU1100XTPS9 purchased on 03/21/07 @ Mollek Appliances here in Sarasota FL. It is used once a day in the evening when there is a full load and more economical energy wise. Yesterday it ran its cycle but an odd oder became present. The dishes were washed properly and it went through its cycle in completion. What is causing that order? Is it safe to run the dishwasher this evening? Is this problem covered under warranty? Two years with regular use should not fail. EWe have always purchased Whirlpool appliances over the past 24 years because of its reliability. Can we no longer count on that product performance? Appreciate a reply.
Thank You Karen
