Question about Kenmore Elite 45986 Front Load Washer
I set the cycle for 35 minutes it always goes way longer than 35 minutes All cycles go longer than what is on the panel. The problem is that my clothes are coming out with holes in them, like its spinning to long
Are you using HE ( high efficiency ) detergent?
If you are using regular detergent the machine may be sensing all those bubbles and may be working longer to get rid of them.
Try using a net/lingerie bag for delicate clothes.
This type of washing machine works by sensing when the clothes are saturated then it will start to tumble back and forth, and it will continually drain out the dirty soapy water and bring in clean soapy water, then spin out and go into the rinse cycle..
It's all done by the machine sensing when it's time to go to the next cycle.
I am wondering if you are maybe using too much detergent.. Only use the max of 3 tablespoons of HE detergent if you have hard water and 1 tablespoon if you have soft water.
Hope this helps.
