Re: problem

You can go to Windows media player to format the device...that will delete every single songs you have in that device...when you go to Windows media player click on the sync tab then your device should be listed on the right side under devices...then right click on it and you can format it...if you have any questions you can contact me at

Am unable delete song...they do not show up on my computer either

I have a dffierent mp3 player Colby with a usb and I had the same problem. Try deleting the songs from the device itself. If you go into folder view if you havet hat option and choose the song it says to play or delet, at least that is what mine says. It may take awhile to do it one song at a time, but you should have the option of deleting the songs from the actual mp3 player.

I also had minenot show up, mine was do to deleting some of the software off of the player to make more room for songs. I never used podcasts and other files that came on it, so after I deleted them my songs stopped showing up. I just copy the songs to my mp3 player now, and delete them one by one. Hope this helps you.

Cannot delete the songs on mp3

I do mine through Windows Media Player
1)Plug in Sansa
2)Open up Windows Media Player and wait for the Sansa e250 icon to show up under the library. First time, might say 'What device is this' or 'Autoplay'-for autoplay, you click 'sync media files to Sansa e250 using WIndows Media Player'
3)When library shows, click 'Sync' if it is not already there.
4)Just simply click and drag the songs you want from the computer library to the list pane on the side.
5)Once your done, click 'Sart sync'

1)Plug in
2)Wait for the icon under Library in WIndows Media Player
3)Go to Songs under Sansa e250
4)Right click desired songs and choose Delete. You only want to delete from Sansa e250-nothing else

If you want to delete songs off your Sansa you just need to go to "MY COMPUTER: And find the sansa drive open it then look for the music folder. If you dont see a music folder you will need to go to the top where it says tools>then >folder options>then click on show hidden files> you should now see the music file. Go into it and simply delete any songs you don't want.

I don't know how to delete songs

I had trouble getting WMP, Rhapsody, or Windows to see any of the songs on my m240. The only way I found to get them to show up was to plug the player into the USB hot. I know you normally should not do that, but it was the only way I could get them to show up. Of course, Sandisk's site was useless.
