Re: how to fix my phone
Unfortunately you have guessed at the PUK code too many times and have "fried" or permanently disabled the SIM card and it will need to be replaced. In the future, any time your phone asks for the PUK you should contact your carrier, they keep the code locked in your account.
- If you need clarification, ask it in the comment box above.
- Better answers use proper spelling and grammar.

The PUK can also be called simlock. This can only be provided by your service provider. But putting more than 5 times incorrect PUK code has completely locked the phone's sim card. Now to Resuse the phone you have to get a new Sim. There is no way to get the older Sim back. Sorry Sir.
hey there.....what i can see from your received message is that your SIM is probably rejected....not blocked anymore because you have entered wrong pin many times....so you will have to register for another sim then.....this should charge you somewhere around 200 bucks atleast.....this is the only solution here......please vote ....help us to help you better..!!
Well it doesn't block your card, it just blocks your sim card, If you will try a diffrent SIM in your phone that will work and if you want your sim to unlock than contact your Connection service provider means the company from you have you phone connection and you need to give them your sim no, which wouldb located at the back of your SIM and they will provide you with your PUK no for the SIM card.
A PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) is the code required for enabling/unlocking a sim card. This disabling/lock is a result of erroneously entering the PIN (Personal Identification Number) multiple times. Depending on the SIM card issuer, erroneously entering the PUK code multiple times would result to a permanently blocked/disabled SIM card. The PUK code is an OTW (one time write) only and therefore the only way to open the card is with the PUK code.
In all instances, it has nothing to do with the phone itself but with the SIM card, hence, the LG Vu CU920 would still work with another SIM card.
Hope that this be of initial help/idea. Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.
if you have entered the puk code wrong around 10 times you have disabled the sim card, you can cut the sim card into peaces and throw it out from the window since you will have to contact your phone service provider for another sim card or if you have prepaid buy another set.
before throwing the sim card away I suggest you contact the service provider to see if they can help you. if the card isnt blocked yet.. or if you can still enter a puk code you might be able to fix it by calling the provider and getting the correct code if not, its useless card.
PUK occurs when u enter the PIN number wrongly 3 times...so when u see the PUK dont mess with it ,call your service provider immidietely cause only they have the PUK number...if your phone shows PUK disabled or card blocked that means your sim card is destroyed and there is nothing u or anyone can do about it so grab yourself a new sim card u cheap ****
