Question about Casio Exilim EX-FH20 Digital Camera
I bought this Digital camera for a start into slow motion photography and to upload video to sites like You Tube as part of my hobby. Most of the test films I make in high speed and slow motion dont use sound, however at a recent paty in my house I made a few normal speed videos in standard quality and in HD.Unfortunatly when I played them back there was no sound on them.I have checked the menu on the camera and the hand book but cant find any way to turn the sound on ! the symble on the screen always shows the mic with the line through it being off. I know the speaker works as all the sound with turning it on shutter sound etc can be heard..can any one help please.
I know this sounds stupid, but click the up arrow to go into the setting mode and scroll down to the "Optical Zoom" setting and select "OFF". This will allow sound recording. I think Casio sets the camera up this way to avoid recording the sound of the optical zoom motor noise.
Hope this helps...
