Question about Computers & Internet
Having taken apart many laptops most recently today a acer laptop at work.
Its not difficult after you take apart 1-3 laptops, you figure it out, as most laptops will open up the same way.
Here are some guides.http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/showthread.php?t=18758
also go over the ones on this page : http://repair4laptop.org/disassembly_fujitsu.html
I think those should cover it.
Basically how I do it myself. I remove all the screws and components from the bottom of the laptop, then I flip it over and remove the keyboard cover, unscrew the keyboard, remove it, possibly remove the display if needed to get the case apart, unscrew screws from under the keyboard etc, disconnect all possible devices.
after all the screws are out, the case should open up, there are most likely plastic clips holding it closed, use a flat screw driver or a case opener tool to open them, if something is difficult to get open check for screws. sometimes the clips are difficult to open.
Its really not that hard.
