Question about Computers & Internet
Take the internet connection from the back of your router and plug it in to one of your pc's. try logging into the internet. this will tell you if the network is available to the router- if it is-
go to wireless pc
go to run , type cmd
in black window type ipconfig/all hit enter
the ip of your router will be displayed.
go to your browser, type in the router address where you usually put a web site name. hit enter
a window should appear asking for login and password to the router. if you could get to the internet on the cable and can't from the router the router is not set up properly and you must log into the router and set up the way it talks to the internet.
