I am in the middle of a move. My scanner is displaying error 38----155110. I have a new employee that has tried to help a little too much, Can you please help!!! Christine

update the scanner drivers again and check once might be the drivers are corrupted ...

Error code L1-00. Its not the plastic lock. Can't get rid of message


L1-00 Error means: Feeding not completed within specified time after starting feeding (Also could be the scanner head lock is on)

where the scanner head rests under the cover there is a sticker with a small black line and if there is very little difference or machine is unable to detect the calibration strip then it gives a L1-00 error, sometimes resetting the machine helps,

But i would suggest cleaning scanner shaft and tracks , and apply one drop of machine oil on shaft and a very small amount of vaseline on the tracks and make sure it runs freely, NOTE when manually moving scanner head make sure machine is OFF , and gently above the shaft and not in the middle ,


NB ! Never ever ever remove the small circuit board on scanner unit!!!
If you do you buy a new unit

and check if scanner motor is plugged into mother board

Printer will not print showing error 2200. How do l fix it?


This is a scanner error. You could try the following...
Power off and remove the power supply(Power Cord) from the back of the unit.
Open the scanner cover. Check the scanner glass for cracks and the scanner casing for cracks. Close the scanner lid.
Open the top cover
Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit.
Remove both cartridges, close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power on.
IF THE ERROR MESSAGE DID NOT COME BACK....
Power off and remove the power supply from the back of the unit.
Open the top cover
Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit.
INSERT THE COLOR CARTRIDGE ONLY,
Close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power on
IF THE ERROR MESSAGE RETURNS.. GET A DIFFERENT COLOR CARTRIDGE AND REPEAT THIS PROCESS....
IF THE ERROR MESSAGE IS GONE,
Power down as before, do all the same to get the carrier to the middle of the unit and RE-INSTALL THE BLACK CARTRIDGE.
Power back up as in previous steps...
NO ERROR? SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO..
ERROR?? TRY DIFFERENT BLACK
If after trying all of the above and the error message does not go away, you unit would need serviced (if it's under warranty, it's worth it; if not, you might want to replace it.)

It might depend on your application, but I'd try downloading all the information you scanned more often than every 20K items. It's possible that you are filling up the memory in the unit and it won't accept any more.

I get the error 2200 message everytime I try to send a fax


Hello there:
this is a scanner stall or jam. The steps below will help you to resolve the issue and clear the error message2.gif.
Printer Reset
NOTE: The embedded links in the table lead to specific troubleshooting documents.

Power off the All-In-One (AIO) and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Wait 30 seconds. Then reinsert the power supply and power the AIO on.
Did the error message return?
Yes: Continue to step 2.
No: Attempt a test scan. If the error message does not reappear, the error is resolved.2
Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of theunit. Open the scanner cover. Check the scanner glass for cracks andthe scanner casing for cracks. Close the scanner lid. Open the topcover of the AIO. Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit. Remove both cartridges, close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power the AIO on.
Did the error message return?
Yes: Continue to Contacting Lexmark.
No: Continue to step 3.3
Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of theunit. Open the top cover of the AIO. Using the carrier belt, move thecartridge carrier to the middle of the unit. Insert the colorcartridge, close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power onthe AIO.
Did the error message return?

Scanner motor move failed error code 6202


6202 error code means that the scanner motor failed

to solve this

-Open the printer access door of your printer
-Unplug power cable
-then after 30secs plug the power able back
-If the printer is already power-up the message printer access door will appear
-Close th printer access door
-try to scan or print

Cartride error 50c on display

Regarding the Dell A940 "Error 50c"....the user guide doesn't seem to mention "Error 50c". They do, however, mention a "Cartridge Error" on page 52 of the manual. They claim this means that the printer has detected a short circuit (fuse/resister) in the cartridge. As you may or may not have noticed in the manual, this is what they recommend doing about it:

1) Press Power to turn the printer off.

2) Lift the printer cover/lid (scanner unit) until the scanner support holds it open.

3) Turn the printer on.
The ink cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position unless the printer is busy.

4) Remove the color ink cartridge.

5) Lower the printer (scanner unit) until it is completely closed.
If the error message displays again, replace the black cartridge with a new black cartridge.

If the error message does not display, repeat steps 1–3 and then go to step 6.

6) Reinstall the color cartridge and remove the black ink cartridge.

7) Lower the printer (scanner unit) until it is completely closed.

If the error message displays again, replace the color cartridge with a new
color cartridge.
If there is no error message (indicated by flashing lights), repeat steps 1–3 and then reinstall both ink cartridges.
8) Lower the printer (scanner unit) until it is completely closed.

If you get the error message again, while both cartridges are installed, replace both of the cartridges.

Basically, what they want you to determine is,....if the short circuit is with the "black ink" cartridge or the "color ink" cartridge and then replace the cartridge that has the problem.

You may have to buy a new cartrige.

How can I change the name on the display of the Toshiba phone? We have a new employee and still list the old employees name on her display.

for resolve this error you should only change the flatbed scanner wiht a new one. this error is hardwere issue.
