My lexmark x83 has been with me since 2001. I love it, but recently it has stopped feeding the paper???? It tells me I have a paper jam. I just replaced the black ink cartridge and when I checked the inside of the printer, there seems to be alot of black ink along the track where the cartridges run back and forth when printing. Help me!!

You may have inadvertently damaged the paper sensor in which case it will need repairing, but sometimes it can just be a case of resetting the unit. Turn it off, unplug it, retry after all on again. Please post back i would love to beat thie cheeky printer xxx
to be honest mate I am quite gutted myself
before I purchased the p4350 I had an x1130, similar printer ie, all in one which lasted for about 3/4 years..but it recently stopped feeding paper. ie.. feeds it in on the right hand side and then gets stuck.. same problem.
so I decided to replace it and purchased the p4350.. as i thought the problem was a one off!!
But oh no.. i AM VERY SURPRISED THAT AFTER ABOUT A MONTH this printer has done the same thing!! I am hapy yours is too as i know it is not something I am doing wrong!!
I can't personally find a solution to the problem. luckily I can replace it easy enough because I got a replacement cover out on it... BUT I won't be changing it for another lexmark! and I am just going to email Lexmark now as their paper feeding mechanism seems very poor as many other people are experiencing the same problems with different Lexmark printers!!
i am having the same problem and after looking it over, something is not feeding it thru the beginning of the paper starting in. if i pust 1 sheet down far enough to grab the paper it will print one page at a time. I have been unable to determine what is not feeding at the beginning yet.
