Question about Washing Machines
I HAVE A WHIRLPOOL SPORT FRONT LOADER STANDARD MODEL # H61B3A0A(3B).
THE WASHER HAS A MESSAGE APPEARING F-
ALL THE LIGHTS ARE BLINKING ON THE WASHER
SOURCE: i have a whirlpool duet
"F21" is a Drain Problem error. If you press PAUSE/CANCEL and it does not correct the problem, you will have to perform the following:
- First of all, the manufacturer recommends unplugging the washer for at 30 minutes before assuming you have a component failure. In some cases, this is all that is required to clear common "glitches". If the problem can't be a explained away as a momentary computer related problem, then continue below:
- Inspect the Drain Pump for clogs - the following link explains how:
- Inspect the drain hoses for clogs - this includes the drain line that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the pump, as well as, the drain hose that exits the puimp and runs to the standpipe at the wall.
- Inspect the drain hoses for kinks.
If the error code still persists after you perform all these preliminary measures, it is recommended that you replace the drain pump. It does not take much to damage the drain pump in this washer. If foreign objects remain in the pump for extended periods of time, it can potentially damage the impeller and motor. The result will be a drain pump that APPEARS to be running, but isn't pumping water like it should. If the pump is damaged, please let me know and I can assist you with locating replacement parts. The cost is usually about $100 or less, if you perform the repairs yourself. I also have step-by-step instructions if needed. I will need to know your MODEL number if this is the case. Hopefully, it won't come to that. The answer is not spend MORE money on another appliance. You can learn through expert advice how to repair your appliances yourself and avoid the expensive service call. I hope you agree.
I hope you find this information helpful. If you require further assistance, please let me know.

If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and "F/02" is flashed.
NOTE: After 4 minutes the "Sud" error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed.
Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.

First check your washer plug to see if the connections are tightly
screwed. Next check your filter if you haven't for long.
Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you hv drained unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something shd be blocking your pump, check this out
How abt a nice rating for the free help? Thnks
