Only from my own experience. Not a doctor, or qualified in the medical field.

I had these symptoms once, and it turned out to be the onset, of what could have turned into Strip Throat. NOTHING to fool around with!

(Couldn't swallow, felt like I had a small bone or something, stuck in my throat. After a few days, I realized it wasn't your average cold or flu symptom, and went to the doctor. I Shouldn't have waited so long, according to the doctor!))

I suggest you seek medical attention as fast as possible, especially if you're having trouble breathing. (Perhaps there is a medical clinic i your area, should you not have medical insurance)

I hope you get this looked at Soon, and I hope you will be okay.

Hi,

unfortunately Fixya can provide only technical support. You clearly need medical advice.
Look for medical advice as soon as possible.

I am afraid this is not a medical help site.

My only suggestion is to seek medical aid at your nearest location

My grandfather told me...don't explain; your friends don't need it and your enemies won't believe you anyway.....my not sound appropriate to your situation, but just think about it....those people are spending their time worrying about you! they don't have anything better to do with their time."..shucks, didn't know how effective my life actually is...how important I really am"....after all, what would they be doing if not trying to harass you...shrug off that bad karma...smile...it drives them crazy...they cannot hurt you. they want you to be afraid....afraid of what?! them.?...don't make me laugh...swim away from that whirl of water....if you don't play, they can't have any "fun" SORRY but for lack of a better word, they think they are having a good time....not on your dime, mister...as Neil Patrick Harris says: "when I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome"....life is not supposed to be that heavy....remember to smile....

Why is my cat having difficulty swallowing her wet food?

a veterinarian can diagnose that problem accurately (presuming you want competent, experienced guidance and answers.)
it could be anything from a hairball stuck in her throat, to a benign tumor or something more serious. - - - you should take her to the vet. remember, you get the quality you are willing to pay for.

What is the treatment for glandular fever

There is no cure for glandular fever, and most symptoms normally disappear within 4-6 weeks without treatment, although fatigue may persist for up to 6 months in some cases. Most people make a full recovery.
Symptoms can be controlled with:

Rest Rest Rest

they will want it naturally without much couching. But also can be frustrating.
Complete rest will aid recovery, especially during the first month after symptoms appear. They often feel too tired and too unwell to continue with their regular routine and they can't! As the they recover, light exercise may help them regain muscle strength.

Drinking fluids

This will help preventdehidration, especially if there is a high fever. A sore throat can make it hard to swallow, but it is important to consume enough fluid. Whatever juicy fruits they like give them!

Painkillers

Painkillers, such as ibuprofen or Tylenol... They may help control fever and pain. Asprin is NOT suitable for anyone under 16 years of age.

Gargling

Gargling with salt water or a solution from the pharmacy...ask the pharmacist... may/will help relieve a sore throat.

Steroids?

If the tonsils are very inflamed or breathing is difficult, a short course of corticosteroids...well maybe..normally this is not recommended and you'll be hard pressed to find a doctor to treat this way unless their hospitalised.

Is it dangerous for babies to get colds?

Colds are basically viral infections that affect the nose, throat and sinuses. Younger kids and babies can catch up to 10 colds a year on average. Mostly colds are not dangerous and get better by themselves but if you see any of the following, you should consult with your doctor;

- A fever over 38 degrees

- Cold symptoms for more than 10 days especially with green or yellow mucus.

- Any breathing difficulties.

- Throat pain.
