Question about Computers & Internet
Same here, i got the same problem, i have not got the disc anymore, if i can find a download for the files then i would download it and copy it into a disc and then use the disc on my other computer and then install it, please someone help
For anyone using Windows XP and later, it is my understanding that the OS is clever enough to find the hardware on PnP, and then ask you if you have the CD for the program... The OS can utilize many "generic" drivers which work very very well.
Your choice to let Windows find it is the correct response of YES
You will be asked if it is OK for Windows (one time) to access the web to find better drivers....
Of course you must say yes again.
The next thing you see is Windows cannot find a better driver than is already there..... But, again, that's if PnP works on your OS.
Hope this did not confuse you. It did me for a minute LOL
