My coby MID7012 isn't going to the home screen after I charged it. Its flashing coby over and over. But its not turning on. What do I do?

Sounds like you are in a "Boot Loop". Let's try to break the Boot Loop. Plug the device into the charger, then press and hold the power button for 60 seconds - make sure the device is OFF after the 60 seconds. Let change overnight. Next Day, unplug the device from the charger, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, wait 30 seconds, press and release the power button normally, the device should be out of the Bootloop.

Computer won't boot and can't figure out why. Keeps going through the loop that's shown in video.

Try unplugging the computer from the power source while its doing this. Wait 5 minutes, then plug back in.

With any luck it will reboot. Its worth a try.

My router stopped giving wi-fi to my computer. What can i do?

Hi,

you can try reseting your wireless network.

It is a soft reset so you will not loose your configuration.

Unplug power on your modem and on your router.

Wait 20 seconds then put power back to the MODEM FIRST.

Wait 30 seconds and then plug power back in your router. Wait 20 seconds again and try your connection.

If not, try restarting your computer after doing the steps.

Hope this helps!

Hi, my router won't le tme connect to the internet. I have unplugged it, waited a few minutes and then plugged it back in. Re-booted it, and still no connections. Any suggestions?

Hi,

you probably need to unplug power on your router too.

Unplug both power plugs and wait 20 seconds. Then plug back power to your MODEM FIRST.

Wait 1 minute to make sure the connection get an ip address.

After that, put the power back to your router.

Wait 20 seconds and try the connection with your computer.

If it doesn't work, restart your computer.

Hope this helps!

My T40 think pad will not boot up it it starts to power up but then powers ofrf, i got a new adapter thats putting out the 16 volts it should. Do I need a new battery?

Have you replaced the battery? How about dismanteling it and cleaning out the fan and air tube? Have you checked your memory sticks to see if one is faulty or loose? Those are the usual causes.
One other thing you can do is unplug the pc, pull out the battery for 20 seconds. While battery is out, press and hold the power button for 10 full seconds. Then wait a minute, put the battery back in, plug it back in, and then try it.

Printer will not complete boot up

On the control board on the right side there is a 330uf 10v capacitor that needs to be changed. The top was bulged on the one I was working on and when I replaced it it works fine. It had the on/off loop going on.

HP PHotosmart c6150 keeps shutting on and off repeating the same meassage improper shutdown.

You need to reset the printer. I had the same exact problem with a C6150. Unplug the power cord from back "while printer power is on" (doesn't have to be fully booted just turning on). Wait 20 seconds, hold # and 6 keys together and plug power back in. Continue to hold until power goes off or semi-reset message comes up. Power up (if off) press OK for any error messages and let the printer cycle. Should be good to go. Mine sounded very noisy while it was trying to allign internally. I can only suspect that was the initial problem but this process fixed mine and it runs great now. Hope this helps.

Cannot connect my laptop to linksys wrt54g router we lost our DSL connection today its back now but not with router hooked upcant find disk is there a free download? Does it need to be reconfigured??

Shouldn't need to be reconfigured. Power cycle (unplug and plug back in) both devices in the following order.

1 Unplug power to modem
2 Unplug power to router
3 Wait 20 Seconds
4 Plug power back into modem
5 Plug power back into router
6 Wait about 30 seconds for everything to re-initialize

That should take care of it, if not, let me know and I will provide you with some software for you router to try and set things back up, but I dont think you need to do that just yet.

Hope that helps and let me know...

Changing password

You need to unplug the router, hold the reset for 20 seconds...plug it back in, let it boot, press and hold reset for another 20 seconds.  Unplug it and wait for 10 seconds and reconnect the power.
