Ok my phone has time on it

But it shows no bars and unrestered sim tracfone has no idea why it won't work and the prepaid is deactvated can any body help this is a refirbished phone HELP

The problem might be is that its set on a different area go to this page to change it by putting the serial number in it

How do I get to check my min and time balance on my samsung tracfone # 479-295-4906. How can this be corrected

You can view your mobile device's remaining prepaid minutes by pressing the OK (Confirm) key from the idle screen or press Menu > Prepaid to open the prepaid application. Scroll to My Airtime Info and press Select or the OK (Confirm) key. Minutes shows you the number of prepaid minutes you have left, and Due Date shows the date by which you must purchase and add airtime. If you do not purchase and add airtime prior to this date, your service will be deactivated and you will lose your phone number, even if you have minutes remaining.

My TRACFONE Lg 800G keeps saying emergency call only when I have full service

This problem shouldn't really have anything to do with the signal your getting. the emergency calls only mode is intended for prepaid phones without minutes or contract phones that are deactivated.
That being said, there have been a lot of problems with the 800g sending certain types of data over networks, since your prepaid phone is constantly sending data regaurding your prepaid time, it may just be that the data isn't being sent or recieved properly thus either your phone or the network thinks you are out of time. try taking out your sim card see if you can tell if it is an ATT sim or a T mobile sim, if it's ATT its a pretty good possibility that that is your problem. Either way if your getting the emergency calls only screen and you've got plenty of minuts on your phone I would contact tracfone and tell them what's going on.
and a little FYI: they may try blaming it on your cell number, if you've had the same number for a long time and havent had any problems, dont let them bully you into getting a new number, chances are it wouldn't help anyway

You need unlocked phone. ATT sim works only with ATT phone.

It is prepaid tracfone and some how i disabled the prepaid service on it and i cant unlock the phone or sims card either one

Here's what I did:

1. go to on service and support. technical support
4.enter your phone's serial number (you can get that by clicking on your phone's prepaid icon, then scroll down until you see serial number.
5. Click select

6. write down the number

7. On the Tracfone serial number box, write your serial number.

You'll then have to fill out a brief form (name, address, phone number, email, nature of the problem).

8. Tracfone will send you an email with simple instructions on how to reprogram you phone. It's usually just a matter of clicking Code Entry Mode and entering the codes Tracfone tells you to.

All in all it's pretty easy and a whole lot quicker than calling tech support on the phone.

there are a few questions you need to answer to get a better idea.

How old is the SIM?
You may need to update to a newer version SIM card to work in that particular phone.

How old or new is the phone the SIM is Working in.
This will further help determine.

Was this SIM working in that phone before?
If yes you may have a phone issue.

If no, the phone you are trying to put your SIM in may be locked to work only with a particular carrier. Therefore, your SIM does not register when you place it in that phone.

These are some reasons why your problem may occur.
