What is unknown error 42003 it happens when I try to do an i tunes download

Try this steps:

1. Sort it by deleting the partial download then let itunes download the whole file again

2. Close iTunes then go into the library in your browser (default for windows is C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes Media or for mac Users\Username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music) and in with the the artist folders you have stored in there one will be called downloads.

3. In downloads folder there will be the partial file that you currently downloaded, delete that folder.

4. Re-open iTunes, if it doesn't automatically start, download it again then go to check for available downloads.

Hope it will help....

Itunes drivers for importing and burning CDs/DVDs missing where can i get them? Bill

It seems that some users installing iTunes 8 on Windows systems are encountering an error message:

“ERROR: The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning cds and dvds are missing… Please re-install iTunes”

iTunes uses GEAR software drivers for importing and burning CD’s & DVD’s. Re-installing (or installing the latest GEAR drivers seems to fix this problem. No reboot required for this install.

You can get the current GEAR drivers here: http://www.gearsoftware.com/support/drivers.cfm

If this does not fix your problem download a fresh installer for iTunes here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Uninstall iTunes, reboot, & then do a fresh install of iTunes.

Hope This Help You

ITunes won't open

First try clicking debug first then review whatever it has to say. but my very solution is... Re-download itunes and then re-install. make sure your download file is for the right OS system. Sometimes installations are messed up during download.

Does one have to have apple computer for ipod one touch

Are you going to (www.apple.com/itunes/download) to download the latest version of iTunes? Also I would suggest attempting the download with your firewall/anti-virus software disabled. As they can sometimes cause the itunes download to not complete or download with missing files. They are not viruses but sometimes the different softwares will think they are malicious. You do not have to own an apple computer to use an apple iPod. Just make sure that your Operating System on your PC is up to date an you should be good to go. If your not downloading iTunes version 8.1.1.10 then it's not the latest version. :)
