Question about Dryers
I had called the repairman for this problem and was told that this is normal. The heavy drum makes a flat spot on the roller while it is stopped. The flat spot makes the sound when it starts but stops making the sound after the flat spot goes away after rolling around a bit. Have not had a problem with the rollers for the last 7 years. It makes the sound for the first 30 sec or so, then goes away. If you have this sound all the time, you may have a defect on the roller.

This is probably your drum rollers going out. While you are replacing the rollers, I recommend you also replace the belt and also blow all the lint out of your dryer while you are inside the unit. This will prolong the life of your dryer as well as prevent a potential fire from lint getting caught on fire. Call us for your parts and we will be sure to get the right ones for you. We need the brand and model number off your dryer. Ella :>)
